This residential refurbishment project involved a modern update to the interior and exterior of a boutique Georgian house. The challenge was to create a consistent scheme that followed throughout the property, reflected by the materials and colours chosen. Bamboo flooring, white carrara tiles and feature lichen green walls gives this scheme a subtle natural touch and the addition of new spotlights and architectural blinds complete the look.

The exterior landscape started from an existing outgrown jungle to this new contemporary landscape with clean geometric lines inspired by the modern notion: less is more. The creation of a raised patio area allows for an enjoyable view of the rest of the garden and the elongated central steps capped with flower beds on either side connect the main dining area with the lawn. Evergreen olive trees and lavender shrubs provide a timeless landscape throughout the seasons and bring a warm Mediterranean touch in the cold winter months.
